Peter has been a member and facilitator of The Virginia Family Business Forum since 2007. The forum was formed to provide education and consultative services to dynamic and progressive family-owned firms throughout the region. The Forum focuses on many of the problems encountered by family-owned firms. In his role as facilitator, Peter helps next generation leaders:

Member and Certificate Holder Family Firm Institute

The Family Firm Institute (FFI) is an international professional membership organization dedicated to providing interdisciplinary education and networking opportunities for family business and family wealth advisors, consultants, educators, and researchers and to increasing public awareness about trends and developments in the family business and family wealth fields.

The certificate is FFI's way of recognizing commitment to the field as well as acknowledging that Peter Kohn has fulfilled all the requirements for the FFI Certificate in Family Business Advising. The FFI Certificate Program benefits both family business advisors and their clients by establishing knowledge standards for better serving family-owned enterprises.
